Organic Components Modulate the Morphology of Respirable Aerovirology Relevant Aerosols

This dataset contains experimental data for model bioaerosol particles generated from solutions containing the chemicals listed in the associated files. Aerosols were produced and dried with dilution air to achieve a relative humidity (RH) of 35%, allowed to remain suspended for 10 s, and then collected using an 8-stage Andersen Cascade Impactor. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) grids were placed on Stages 2–6 to collect particles for morphological and elemental characterization using SEM coupled with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM/EDX). The dataset includes experimental setup figures, representative SEM images of dried model bioaerosol particles, particle size distribution data, and SEM/EDX results.
