The HADES detector resolutions and application of the kinematic fit with missing particle constraint

In this publication the performance of the kinematic fit method has been tested in the η/ω mesons reconstruction in its decay into three pions using simulations of reactions pp → ppη/ω (→ π+π−π0) at √s = 3.46 GeV with a π0 missing mass constraint. For the fitting procedure, the detector resolutions were calculated based on the simulations, and the goodness of fit was studied. The results show a significant improvement in the mass value and resolution.
