Bacterial diversity of different stages of Litchi stink bug, Tessarotoma javanica

The present study was initiated to evaluate the diversity and variation of microbiota and their predicted functions among different developmental stages of the litchi stink bug, Tesssaratoma javanica using 16s rRNA amplicon gene sequencing. The present findings enable us to understand the status of developmental stage-associated bacteria, which will lay the basis for understanding the role of associatedbacteria in their growth, development, reproduction, immunity, digestion, and adaptability.
