Maps, data and R code for the paper "Advancing European Forest Category mapping for policy and monitoring: comparing probabilistic habitat modelling and field-based spatial partitioning"

This repository contains scripts and outputs related to the production and analysis of EFC (European Forest Category) maps for the year 2018, based on two different data sources: EUNIS habitat maps and LUCAS field survey data. The maps are stored in the maps/ directory, while R scripts and required data used to generate and analyse the maps are located in the scripts/ directory.
