Genetic improvement of rice for abiotic and biotic stress tolerance using molecular breeding, especially drought, submergence and bacterial blight disease

North East India has huge collection of traditional rice accessions consisted of unique traits which may be exploited for crop improvement programme. Therefore, QTLs associated with various economically important traits to be identified for development of biotic and abiotic stress tolerant rice variety using high throughput breeding programme ' Genomics Assisted breeding'.
