Foxn3 acting as a transcriptional repressor of ciliary genes

This study demonstrates that Foxn3 plays a critical role in the retina by acting as a transcriptional repressor of ciliary genes in non-photoreceptor neurons, perhaps preventing them from adopting a photoreceptor-like ciliary program.
