Kin-Care Vigilance and Public Discomfort with Autonomous Machines: Analysis Code and Derived Results from Eurobarometer 77.1, 82.4 and 87.1 (2012–2017)

Replication package for a secondary analysis of three European Commission Eurobarometer waves (2012, 2014, 2017; combined N = 82,453 across 29–30 national samples) examining whether public discomfort with robots and artificial intelligence follows an evolutionary kin-care gradient. The package contains the full Python analysis pipeline, all estimated coefficients with standard errors, confidence intervals and sample sizes, per-country domain rankings, and per-country within-person comfort gaps. Raw survey files are not redistributed and must be obtained from the GESIS Data Archive (ZA5597, doi:10.4232/1.12014; ZA5933, doi:10.4232/1.13044; ZA6861, doi:10.4232/1.13738).
