RNA-seq transcirptomic profiling of SDCCAG8-deficient cells generated by gene-editing, identified differentially expressed genes that are enriched for in neurodevelopmental processes and extracellular matrix deposition and maintenance RPE1 WT, RPE1 SDCCAG8 -/-, SH-SY5Y WT and SH-SY5Y SDCCAG8 -/- cells were sequenced in triplicate at baseline conditions and after serum starvation.
