Production volume of textile upper shoes in France 2010-2020

Footwear is traditionally made out of leather or textile fabric. While leather is primarily used to manufacture town shoes (heels, loafers, boots...), textile is usually used for more casual types of shoes such as sneakers. In 2020, 1.4 million pairs of footwear with textile uppers were produced in France.
