The purpose of this head-to-head study was to gain molecular insights into the MOA for IXE and GUS in PsO and to compare and contrast the gene expression profiles at early time-points for IXE targeting IL-17A and GUS targeting IL-23. IXORA-R enrolled adults with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis (static Physician’s Global Assessment [sPGA] ≥3, PASI ≥12, and BSA ≥10%). We generated longitudinal gene expression profiles of plaque psoriasis lesions from patients enrolled in the IXORA-R (NCT03573323) trial to directly compare the clinical responses with the sequential molecular and cellular events in the lesional skin and blood.
