Disaster Management Plan Union Council Rampur Punjab Pakistan

Union Council Disaster Management Plan is an information guide for the relevant role players and stakeholders of Union Council, Tehsil & District administration and Provincial authorities. It is an outcome of the participatory exercise of UCDMC members, Govt. officials & local body representatives for UC level hazard, vulnerability, capacity assessment and planning for risk mitigation and preparedness held on 25/07/2019. It provides basic information of Union Council such as demography, facilities, services available, agricultural land, infrastructures, hazards, vulnerability aspects, mitigation and preparedness plans. The Mitigation Plan highlights the priority needs in purview of community needs prevalent to hazards (primary and secondary) and vulnerabilities as well as existing capacities to protect lives and assets. The Preparedness section of the Plan also provides information about Community structures and their scope for disaster risk management during emergencies. All these information, are gathered and fed in UCDMP after the evaluation of Village level information gathered through direct consultations with communities and local government
