The ASW dataset was co-developed by the University of Augsburg and Imperial College London, with the aim of exploring the impacts of audio on mental and physical health. This dataset contains over 88 hours of audio data collected from YouTube, covering five distinct instrument categories such as gongs, drums, singing bowls, and chanting. During its development, audio data was extracted from YouTube videos and underwent rigorous post-processing to ensure audio quality and applicability. The ASW dataset is primarily utilized for research on audio perception and soundscape enhancement, with the objective of improving auditory experiences in urban environments through the analysis and synthesis of specific audio content, thereby enhancing human well-being.
