The dataset provided in this submission pertains to a detailed fiber-based, three-dimensional, dynamic response simulation aimed at selecting effective retrofit techniques for upgrading existing substandard, reinforced concrete (RC) bridges. It includes the data of seismic performance assessment of a benchmark RC adjacent bridge vulnerable to critical seismic damage modes such as high curvature ductility, bearing displacement, and pounding between adjacent bridges, which enable the selection of individual and hybrid retrofit techniques that can address various damage modes effectively. The dataset also contains validation results of the retrofit measure’s fiber-based modeling approaches through comparing their hysteretic response with previous experimental results. The presented dataset includes the results of implementing validated retrofit measures on the benchmark adjacent bridge, encompassing preliminary and detailed probabilistic seismic performance assessments under multiple seismic scenarios. The preliminary analysis results include lateral capacity curves and moment rotation relationships. The detailed performance assessment includes diverse fragility relationships and damage state probabilities for different earthquake scenarios and seismic risk mitigation strategies. The entire dataset is systematically organized in Excel worksheets, offering insights into the most effective retrofit measures for enhancing the resilience of substandard adjacent bridges.
