CosMx Spatial Molecular Imaging Dataset of Obesity-Associated Colorectal Cancer

This dataset contains CosMx Spatial Molecular Imaging (SMI) data generated for the study “Obesity Reprograms the Spatial Ecosystem of Colorectal Cancer through Early Epithelial Reprogramming and Immunosuppressive Remodeling.” Single-cell spatial transcriptomic profiling was performed on colorectal cancer tissue specimens from obese and non-obese individuals using the CosMx SMI platform. The deposited files include cell-by-gene expression matrices, cell-level metadata, transcript-level spatial coordinates, field-of-view (FOV) position information, cell segmentation polygons, and a combined processed R object used for downstream analyses. Data are provided for two CosMx slides (colonTMA_JHK_1 and colonTMA_JHK_2). The original CosMx export files provide the expression and spatial information required for downstream processing and interpretation of the dataset, while the combined RDS object represents the processed dataset used for downstream analyses in this study. All patient-related information included in the deposited data has been de-identified.
