Genome assembly for Poecilia reticulata male

Here, we provide a new guppy reference genome assembly that uses a male sample, HiC based chromosome contact information, and long-read PacBio sequencing. We show that our new reference assembly closes gaps and corrects misassemblies found in the short-read female-derived guppy genome.
