Ultrasonic anemometer on-board wind measurements at 175 cm above deck on Polarstern cruise PS144 (ArcWatch-2)

This dataset consists of wind measurements taken by the Metek 3D Ultrasonic Anemometer uSonic-3 Cage MP during the Polarstern cruise PS144 (Rabe & Geibert 2025) in summer and early fall 2024 from August 9th to October 13th. The anemometer was mounted on a pole at a height of 175 cm above the upper Peildeck (Observation Deck) and measured continuously at 0.1 Hz during transit and stationwork.
