The study investigates bacterial diversity in cryoturbated tundra subjected to warming treatments simulating winter climate change.Samples have been taken:- in three different types of location (sampling domains) of non-sorted circles: outer domain, inner domain vegetated, inner domain bare; - in circles subjected to 3 different warming treatments: control, fleece (insulating gardening fleece), passive snow addition;- at two different depths: ~1cm and ~8cm.The experimental design of the study and details of sampling are described in Krab et al., (2019, Soil Biology and Biochemistry; doi: 10.1016/j.soilbio.2019.107569). In addition, these samples have been used in Ramirez et al., (2018, Nature Microbiology; doi:10.1038/s41564-017-0062-x).
