It was developed collaboratively by scientists from the University of Connecticut, University of Florida, Purdue University, University of Wisconsin, and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. This database mainly curates data on cell wall-related gene mutants of model plants including Arabidopsis thaliana, Oryza sativa, and Zea mays, and contains information on over 1,100 homozygous T-DNA insertion mutants of these genes.
