Replication Data and Documentation for "From Research Productivity to Economic Growth: Monetizing Intangible Academic Value"

This Zenodo record provides the replication data package and repository documentation for the study “From Research Productivity to Economic Growth: Monetizing Intangible Academic Value.” The package contains the author-compiled Excel workbook, manuscript-related documentation, data availability statement, repository README, codebook, data dictionary, official source register, reproducibility notes, citation metadata, and file manifest with SHA-256 checksums. The dataset supports a cross-country panel-econometric analysis of academic-value monetization through research productivity, academic intangible value, monetization capacity, innovation output, high-technology exports, productivity transmission, conditional regimes, and GDP-equivalent value interpretation. The empirical design uses an economy-year panel structure. The effective lagged estimation sample contains 464 economy-year observations across 39 economies for 2011–2022. The broader descriptive universe contains 907 observations, while the 2022 typology uses 38 economies with complete median-classification inputs. The package documents the construction and interpretation of the Research Productivity Index (RPI), Academic Intangible Value Index (AIVI), and Academic Value Monetization Index (AVMI), together with baseline panel models, fixed-effects logic, robustness checks, component-exclusion tests, threshold and heterogeneity procedures, advanced econometric extensions, monetization algorithms, Academic Economic Value Added (AEVA), conversion ratios, counterfactual scenarios, typology rules, and policy-dashboard interpretation. The repository is intended to support transparency, reproducibility, reviewer verification, and future extensions of the study. The data are derived from publicly available international statistical sources and author-processed calculations. No personal, confidential, or human-subject microdata are included.
