Antibiofilm Peptides Used for Validation of Network-Based Motif Discovery
收藏资源简介:
This dataset (FASTA) contains the 58 antibiofilm peptides (ABFPs) that were excluded from the network-based analyses due to high sequence redundancy (≥98% local alignment identity threshold), as determined by CD-HIT clustering. In the study “Mapping the Antibiofilm Peptide Space with Similarity Networks and Curated Negative Sets,” the full set of 387 ABFPs was initially used to statistically identify distinguishing compositional and physicochemical features and to map the antibiofilm chemical space against two control datasets.A non-redundant subset of 329 peptides was then selected for the construction and analysis of the Half-Space Proximal Network (HSPN) and Chemical Space Network (CSN). The remaining 58 redundant peptides, presented here, were not included in the networks but were used to validate the motif enrichment process, serving as an independent set for assessing the generalizability of network-derived sequence motifs.
