资源简介:

Title: Development of a Performance-Based Seismic Design Philosophy for Mid-Rise Woodframe Construction (Capstone test) (NEES-2010-0895)

Year Of Curation: 2012

Description: A series of five shake table tests was conducted on a full-scale mid-rise building at Japan's E-Defense as the last task within the NEESWood Project. Test Day 1 consisted of the 7-story mixed use building with a moderate and then a design-level earthquake intensity used as input motion. Test Day 2 consisted of the same input motions with the SMF locked down to enable only participation of the six-story woodframe building. The last day, Test Day 3 had only a single test at MCE seismic intensity. All ground motions were scaled per ASCE 7-05 for Los Angeles, CA. Data sets include approximately 100 sensors ranging from accelerometers, to strain gauges, to string potentiometers. In addition, 50 optical tracking markers provided 3-D movement on three sides of the building with an approximate accuracy of +/- 1mm.

Award: http://www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/showAward?AWD_ID=0529903

PIs & CoPIs: John Van de Lindt

Dates: June 30, 2009 - July 14, 2009

Organizations: Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO, United States

Facilities: Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO, United States,
Hyogo Earthquake Engineering Research Center (E-Defense), Miki, Japan

Sponsor: NSF - 0529903

Keywords: e-defense, Japan, full scale, shake table testing, light frame wood building

Publications: -
<nb:citations></nb:citations>
