Italy: distribution of of LGBT news items on TV by source type 2015

This statistic illustrates the distribution by source of LGBT news items broadcasted on Italian television in 2015. According to the study, one in four news items concerning the LGBT community had a political origin, while one in five dealt with legal inquiries and investigations involving LGBT people. The third most popular source were crime cases (18 percent of news), followed by news involving civil society (16 percent).
