Tadhkira-i-Nadrat. This manuscript is now IO Islamic 676 in the India Office collections. [metadata: Hermann Ethé, Catalogue of Persian Manuscripts in the Library of the India Office, 2 vols. (Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1, number 2678 here with notations and hyperlinks]. 676 Tadhkira-i-Nadrat ( تذكرۀ ندرت ). A large fragment of a tadhkirah of ancient and modern Persian poets, compiled by ‘Âlî Fiṭrat ‘Aṭâ-allâh, with the takhalluṣ Nadrat, in the nineteenth year of Muḥammadshâh’s reign, A.H. 1149, 1150 (A.D. 1737), see fol. 32b, margin, ll. 11-12. It is divided into two چمن , seven گلشن , and one حديقه or خاتمه ; the former nine comprising the nine centuries of Persian poetry, from A.H. 200 to 1100 (A.D. 815-1689), the latter dealing with contemporary poets of the twelfth century. Of these ten subdivisions, only five are found in this copy, viz. Ćaman I: Poets of the third century, from Rûdagî to ‘Umârah, on fol. 33a; Ćaman II: Poets of the fourth century, from Amîr Aḳâjî (or Aghâjî) to Abû-alfaraj Sijzî, on fol. 33b; Gulshan I and II (not separated here): Poets of the fifth and sixth centuries, from ‘Unṣurî to Jamâl-aldîn ‘Abd-alrazzâḳ of Iṣfahân, on fol. 34a, margin; Gulshan III: Poets of the seventh century, on fol. 61a, beginning with Kamâl-aldîn Isma’îl خلاّق المعانى , and breaking off abruptly in the account of Jalâl-aldîn Rûmî.
