Acidic soil is one of the major limiting factors for crop productivity in the world. In this study, aluminum-tolerant soybean and aluminum-sensitive soybean were used as plant materials and the acidic red soil was used as growth media. The effects of genotypes/compartments on bacterial communities in acid soil were analyzed by high-throughput sequencing of V4 hypervariable regions of 16S rRNA gene (16S rDNA) amplicons via Illumina MiSeq.
