CATALYST cohort data

This dataset contains data from Stage I and Stage II of the CATALYST study. This was a prospective cohort study that enrolled women at 28 participating sites across Kenya, Lesotho, South Africa, Uganda, and Zimbabwe, and offered women a choice between biomedical HIV prevention products. In Stage II, women were offered the monthly dapivirine vaginal ring or daily oral pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) in Stage I; injectable cabotegravir as was added as an option in Stage II of the study. This dataset contains de-identified data pertaining to sociodemographic variables of women enrolled, PrEP choice and patterns of use, and acceptability of PrEP products and services.
