A Comparative Study of High-State Black Hole Candidates

GTWe propose a 10ksec total observation of the black holecandidates LMC X1, and GX 3394. The aim is to extend the timeline for which high quality spectral observations of these objects are available and to study their low energy spectrum in greater detail, concentrating onaccretion disk physics, Fe line analysis, and a study of the short term and long term temporal properties of the sources.The observation of 3394 should be performed directly before orafter the observation of 3394 from the associated proposal. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
