Molecular microbial community analysis on ornithogenic soil affected by Tsunami in Japan

In this study, the archaeal and bacterial community structure was analyzed using V4 region of 16S rRNA gene sequences amplified from ornithogenic soil, which is derived from seabird faces in Kabushima Japan. We also have discussed the microbial nitrification of ornithogenic soil N was suppressed because of the tsunami flood by these data, quantification of genes involved in nitrogen cycling, and analyses of chemical components in soil.
