Effect of frequency of organic load shock on the microbial community progression of an anaerobic digester acclimatized to low organic loading rate (low frequencies - C-0 and E-8)

This study tackled the anaerobic digester performance, microbial community progression, and biochemical pathway dynamics in the anaerobic digester inoculated with the microbiome acclimatized to a complex substrate at low organic loading rate (OLR), in response to repeated high organic load shocks at frequency of once every 8 days (E-8) and a run at constant low OLR.
