These maps were produced by the Premier's Department, and show the numbers employed in secondary industries in country centres and rural regions. The population of each town is noted, and the type of secondary industry and the number of people engaged in that industry is shown. The information in these maps is based on the 1954 Commonwealth Census. (SR Map Nos.52721-22). 2 maps.
