The study investigates the impact of MOCOS knockdown and ER stress on transcriptomic responses and purine metabolism. RNA-seq libraries were prepared using stranded RNA protocols and sequenced as 50 bp paired-end reads. Overall design: RNA was extracted from prostate cancer cell lines (LNCaP and C4-2B) subjected to four experimental conditions: (1) vehicle-treated controls, (2) ER stress induction via thapsigargin (TG), (3) MOCOS knockdown via siRNA, and (4) combined MOCOS knockdown and TG treatment. Each condition was performed in biological replicates. Controls include siCTRL-treated cells with or without TG exposure.
