National debt of Latvia in relation to gross domestic product 2015-2029

The ratio of national debt to gross domestic product (GDP) in Latvia was forecast to continuously increase between 2024 and 2029 by in total 1.7 percentage points. After the seventh consecutive increasing year, the ratio is estimated to reach 46.92 percent and therefore a new peak in 2029. This indicator describes the general government gross debt in relation to the country's GDP. According to the International Monetary Fund, gross debt consists of all liabilities that require payment or payments of interest and/or principal by the debtor to the creditor at a date or dates in the future. The GDP, on the other hand, refers to the total value of final goods and services produced during a year.

拉脱维亚国家债务与国内生产总值（GDP）之比预计将在2024年至2029年期间持续上升，累计增幅达1.7个百分点。在连续第七年增长之后，该比率预计将达到46.92%，从而在2029年创下新高。此指标描绘了政府总债务相对于该国GDP的关系。根据国际货币基金组织的数据，总债务包括所有要求债务人在未来某一日期或多个日期向债权人支付本金或利息的负债。另一方面，GDP则指一年内生产的最终商品和服务的总价值。
