Role of IgE-Fc Epsilon Receptor 1 in Pathological Cardiac Remodeling and Dysfunction

IgE is considered as a risk factor for vascular diseases such as atherosclerosis and abdominal aortic aneurysm. However, it is unclear the role of IgE in pathological cardiac remodeling and dysfunction. To explore the mechanism by which IgE-Fc Epsilon Receptor 1 regulates cardiac remodeling, the transcriptomes of cardiac myocyte and cardiac fibroblast either untreated or treated with IgE (5 ug/ml) at 24 hours were examined and compared using rRNA depleted RNA-seq.
