The dataset is sourced from records of basic planting conditions, cultivation techniques and planted varieties of potato-producing areas and local farmers in Xiangshan County. It is used to evaluate and predict the yield of all registered potato-growing farmers in Xiangshan County, so as to provide timely technical support to farmers with yield alerts and ensure the quality and yield of the produced potatoes. This is a potato yield prediction model. The yield calculation formula is: YIELD = a × (1×W×Z×S - 0.2G - 0.3D) × T × J2 × J3 × 100 Where: YIELD: Predicted yield, unit: ton; a: Yield evaluation base; W: Climatic factors including rainfall, temperature, sunshine duration and other relevant indicators, numerical type; Z: Soil factors including soil type, fertility grade and other relevant indicators, numerical type; S: Potato variety, numerical type; G: Occurrence of pests and diseases, 0 or 1; D: Occurrence of meteorological disasters, 0 or 1; T: Potato growth period, numerical type; J2: Cultivation technique training; J3: Planting structure adjustment. Yield analysis: High yield: 80-100 points; Medium yield: 60-79 points; Low yield: <60 points.
