Purpose:
Describes the current and historical hydrological state in Sweden.
Unit: cm
Characteristics: Daily information on water levels in some large lakes in Sweden.Daily values are usually measured at 08.00 (Swedish summer time).
Network information:
— SMHI station network:
Data is collected and stored in SMHI’s databases. Data is checked for plausibility, which means that incorrect data is corrected and data loss is supplemented based on expert judgement where possible. Physical stations are continuously monitored, inspected and maintained by SMHI.
— Other stations:
The stations are not part of SMHI’s station network, but data is collected and stored in SMHI’s databases by agreement with a third party. Quality codes: Green (G) = verified and accepted values.
