Study on Low Temperature of Litopenaeus vannamei

Abstract:Temperature is a limiting factor for the growth of aquatic organisms and can directly affect many chemical and biological processes within the body, including metabolic enzyme activity, aerobic respiration, and signal transduction. In this study, the physiological, transcriptomic, and metabolomic analyses of response of L. vannamei to acute cold stress was investigated.This study provides an integrated multi-omics analysis of the cold stress response in L. vannamei, revealing regulation mechanism of genes and metabolites of shrimp for adaptation and survival under low-temperature conditions.
