Monthly beach profile surveys of the Shoalhaven Coastal Compartment, Australia

This data repository hosts the monthly beach profile surveys undertaken between December 2013 and November 2015 using RTK-GPS at all three beaches of the Shoalhaven Coastal Compartment, on the southeastern coast of Australia. Four profiles were monitored at Seven Mile Beach-Comerong Island (SH1, SH2, SH3 and SH4) and three profiles were monitored at Culburra (CU1-CU2 and CU3) and Warrain-Currarong (WA1, WA2 and WA3) beaches.

Profiles, scheduled at low tide, were surveyed at a 1 m interval across the beaches down to 0 m AHD (Australian Height Datum). Technical problems prevented the collection of data during specific months at some locations and no surveys were conducted during the months of June 2014, January 2015, April 2015 and May 2015.
