Quercetin can inhibit the transcription of heat shock protein (HSP), then disturb the replication of plant virus. Higher temperature can induce the expression of HSP. Nevertheless, the detailed mechanism for the transcription of HSP regulated by heat shock factor (HSF) in N. benthamiana is still unclear. In this study, we designed several treatments about quercetin treatment, higher temperature and periods, and RNA-seq coupled with bioinformatics was conducted for finding the differential expression gene and elucidating the action mechanism, especially for the regulation mechanism between HSF and HSP.
