Methods: The SNI-induced neuropathic pain rat model was used in this study. After application of 2Hz EA treatment to SNI rats on day 3, 7, 14, and 21 post-surgery, the α7nAChR, JAK2/STAT3, pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-1β, IL-6 and anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 expression in DRG were determined by qRT-PCR and western blot analysis. The related study consists of two sections: The 1st section (see tab fig1) was designed to examine the effect of 2Hz EA on the expression level of α7nAChR in DRG of SNI rat. 48 animals in this part were randomly divided into 3 groups: sham,SNI,SNI+EA 3 day (D), sham,SNI,SNI+EA 7D, sham,SNI,SNI+EA 14D, sham,SNI,SNI+EA 21D,with 4 rats in each group. The 2st section (see tab fig2) was designed to examine western blot. Animals in this part were randomly divided into 3 groups: sham,SNI,SNI+EA 3 day (D), sham,SNI,SNI+EA 7D, sham,SNI,SNI+EA 14D, sham,SNI,SNI+EA 21D,with 4 rats in each group.
