Data for: A dataset of permafrost distribution and vulnerable landscapes in the western Himalaya

This dataset provides geospatial information on permafrost distribution and related landscape features in Jammu and Kashmir. It includes MODIS-based land surface temperature data (2002–2023), active layer thickness records, a permafrost classification map, and key infrastructure layers such as roads, lakes, households, and hydropower projects.
