资源简介:
This interdisciplinary study examines the possibility that the mythological people of the Amazons had their origins in the legendary Atlantis, identified with the Sardinian-Corsican block, as described in Plato's dialogues. Subsequently, the myth of the Amazons could have moved to the Caucasus, a region traditionally considered their homeland by ancient historical sources. Through an analysis of classical, mythological and archaeological sources, the paper explores the theory according to which the Amazons could represent a warrior civilization with roots in Atlantis, which would have spread or migrated to the Caucasus after the fall of their original civilization. In particular, it is proposed that the group of captive Amazons, escaped from their captors, could have migrated to the Caucasus, deciding to settle and found a new colony. This movement would have led to the export to the Caucasus of the Atlantean language, traditions and culture, today identified as "Sardinian".
