Intestinal flora can improve the emotional problems of postoperative constipation patients

In recent years, the prevalence rate of chronic constipation in adults around the world has been increasing year by year, and most patients are accompanied by different degrees of emotional disorders. In order to explore the relationship between intestinal flora and emotional status, this study collected preoperative and postoperative clinical data, psychological status and intestinal flora data of 30 patients with chronic constipation who underwent total colectomy and orthostomy. The study found that the anxiety and depression of the patients improved significantly after the operation.
