Dataset: Carabid beetle community data and environmental variables along an ALAN gradient in urban green spaces

This dataset contains raw data for the study investigating the impacts of artificial light at night (ALAN) and landscape patterns on carabid beetle communities in urban green spaces. The dataset includes 4 parts: 1. Species-level catch data of carabid beetles across 22 sampling sites; 2. Complete carabid species list and total individual counts; 3. Site-level environmental variables: ALAN intensity, landscape composition metrics (500 m buffer), landscape Shannon diversity index (LC_Shannon), and functional trait group data; 4. Herb-layer and woody-plant vegetation survey data for each sampling site. The dataset supports full reproducibility of all statistical analyses and results presented in the associated manuscript.
