Classification of types of economic activity (KVED)

The main purpose of DK 009:2010 is to identify and encode the main and secondary types of economic activity of subjects.
DK 009:2010 is a statistical tool for streamlining economic information, which is designed to provide:
- statistical accounting of enterprises and organizations by type of economic activity;
- carrying out state statistical observations of economic activity and analysis of statistical information at the macro level (compilation of indicators of national accounts - accounts of production and income formation, tables "costs-issues");
comparison of national statistical information with international ones through the use of unified statistical terminology, statistical units and principles for determining and changing the types of economic activity of enterprises and organizations.
The use of NACE for statistical needs involves compliance with methodological rules, classification structure and certain boundaries between positions, structural links between the classifications of activities, products and goods of foreign economic activity, the top-down method regarding the main type of activity, definitions of statistical units, etc. Order of the State Consumer Standard of Ukraine dated 11.10.2010 (with amendments made by the order of the State Consumer Standard of Ukraine dated November 29, 2010 Ü 530).
