HRV Data and Codes in R

This dataset contains anonymized heart rate variability (HRV) data collected from 87 first responders who participated in a one-month mindfulness intervention. Participants wore Garmin Vivosmart 5 devices to capture continuous beat-to-beat interval (BBI) data before and after the intervention. Processed measures include traditional HRV indices (SDNN, RMSSD) and nonlinear complexity metrics (Sample Entropy, Multiscale Entropy, Recurrence Rate, Determinism). The dataset supports analysis of how digital mindfulness interventions influence autonomic regulation and physiological complexity in high-stress populations.
