Membrane fouling in Membrane Bioreactor(MBR) mainly includes Extracellular Polymeric Substances(EPS) and soluble microbial products(SMP).Through AHLs Quorum Quenching mechanism,EPS and SMP can be reduced.Therefore, in this study, the strains capable of degrading C8-HSL were screened,and a mixed bacterial system was formed with the same functional strains.the effects of the Quenching system on MBR membrane pollution,effluent water quality,sludge performance and microbial community structure were investigated.It provides a new idea for regulating membrane fouling potential and improving wastewater treatment performance.
