According to a global study on the median expenditure of high-net-worth (HNW) collectors on art and antiques, collectors from Mainland China recorded the highest figure among the selected markets in the first half of 2024. Over that period, the median spending of HNW collectors from Mainland China amounted to 97,000 U.S. dollars. HNW collectors from France followed behind, with a median expenditure of 38,000 U.S. dollars.
