The overall performance of fish fed three different feeds (chicken feed, tilapia feed, and shrimp feed; feeds labeled A, B, and C) showed better growth, feed efficiency, and net yield on feed A. However, levels of free amino acids (FAA) such as leucine, lysine, alanine, and aspartic acid were found in higher amounts in fish carcasses fed C compared to diets A and B. Nevertheless, it is advisable to cultivate sago gourami using feed A to increase production. freshwater ponds, concrete ponds, and floating net cages.
