Whole genome sequencing to identify pathogenic bacterial populations

Food-borne illnesses continue to pose a significant threat to public health. The aim of this project is to detect bacterial pathogens in various foods through whole-genome sequencing. The findings are anticipated to enhance the understanding of pathogenic and opportunistic bacterial species in food and foster better policies for ensuring food safety.
