Groundwater δ2H/δ18O Isoscapes for New South Wales (Australia): Isoscape grids.

This dataset contains gridded stable water isotope (δ2H, δ18O, D-excess) isoscapes in groundwater in NSW. The isoscape grids are available in text (.csv) and GIS shapefile and Geodatabase formats. Two sets of grids are provided: 25x25 km resolution for NSW over four depth intervals (1–30 m; 30–50 m; 50–300 m; and 300–1,000 m), and 5x5 km resolution over three depth intervals (1–30 m; 30–50 m; 50–300 m) for the Namoi River catchment. The isoscapes were based on a 2021 NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW, previously DPIE) statewide groundwater isotope survey, NSW, Australia, supplemented by other unpublished data from ANSTO, CSIRO and DCCEEW/DPIE and published data from sources provided in the Supplementary data for Cendón et al. (2025). Isoscape development by ANSTO was partially supported by funding from the National Water Grid Authority (National Water Grid Fund).
