资源简介:
This study was a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial conducted in 68 reproductive-aged women with heavy menstrual bleeding associated with uterine fibroids. Participants were allocated in a 1:1 ratio to receive either individualized homeopathic medicines selected through classical case-taking and repertorization or matched placebo for three months. Outcomes included menstrual blood loss assessed by the Pictorial Blood Loss Assessment Chart (PBAC), fibroid volume and number measured by transvaginal ultrasonography, and symptom-related quality of life evaluated using the UFS-QOL questionnaire. Longitudinal changes were analyzed primarily using a multivariate linear mixed-effects model under the intention-to-treat principle, with additional supportive statistical, Bayesian, and sensitivity analyses. The trial aimed to evaluate whether individualized homeopathic treatment was associated with changes in symptomatic and structural markers compared with placebo.
